Leah Goulding graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Genetics (2014) and went on to obtain a PhD in Veterinary Medicine and Science (2018) from the University of Nottingham. She completed a post-doctoral position developing antivirals against African swine fever virus (ASFV) at the Pirbright Institute. She is currently a research fellow at the University of Nottingham continuing to build on her discovery of a new class of broad-spectrum antivirals against respiratory RNA viruses during her PhD.
