Biography

I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2013. I worked in mixed Small and Equine practice for 6 years, prior to joining the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science in 2019 as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Veterinary Education. I completed my Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in 2019 with a focus on Small Animal Medicine. I also hold a degree in Biological Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge (2008).

In 2020 I was appointed Veterinary Continuing Education Sub Dean. My main role is to oversee and manage the development and delivery of post graduate taught courses within the CPD department. Primarily this is the Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Veterinary) higher degree apprenticeship programme, together with our RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice modules. I am programme director for the ACP(Vet) apprenticeship and also act as a personal tutor for apprentices on programme.

I undertake regular clinical work at Dovecote Veterinary Hospital, which is one of the Schools Clinical Associate practices. I'm involved in undergraduate teaching during my clinical days, primarily focussed on first opinion cases.
