SMU Alumnus Blake Mycoskie, founder of TOMS Shoes, announces the start of TOMS Roasting Company, which will give one week of clean water to a person in need for every bag of coffee you buy. For every pair of shoes the company sells, it gives a pair of shoes to needy children. Since the start of the company in 2006, it has donated more than 10 million shoes. With a similar philosophy, TOMS launched TOMS Eyewear in 2011.
