2.3.1 Burner reactors The object of a burner reactor is to use up or 'burn' as much uranium-235 as possible. For some reactor designs the uranium-235 content of natural uranium is increased chemically to produce enriched uranium, which contains up to 3% uranium-235 (compared with the naturally occurring 0.7%). 4 Single vaccines – the middle way? Much of the campaign surrounding doubts about the MMR vaccine has centred on a call to replace MMR with single vaccines. This is seen as part of a precautionary argument, just in case Wakefield turns out to be right about an association between the MMR vaccine and autism. After all, the spectre of government reassurances about the ‘safety’ of BSE-infected meat and the subsequent climb down still loom large in public consciousness. Comparisons to the BSE crisis were reinforced by Wakefield
1.6 Implementation Implementation involves the construction of a database according to the specification of a logical schema. This will include the specification of an appropriate storage schema, security enforcement, external schema, and so on. Implementation is heavily influenced by the choice of available DBMS, database tools and operating environment. There are additional tasks beyond simply creating a database schema and implementing the constraints – data must be entered into the tables, issues relating

STAR methodology-based learning about construction accidents and their prevention
This paper presents the results of a feasibility study concerning the application of STAR-methodology-basedmachine learning to construction accidents and their prevention. A ten-stage knowledge acquisition process is presented and its individual stages described. Knowledge about construction accidents was acquired using a collection of 225 examples, based on actual accidents records. Inductive learning with a system based on the STAR-methodology was employed. This system was used in both the gen
3.3.1 Mining subsidence Subsidence is an inevitable hazard wherever underground mining is carried out. The major factors affecting the extent of subsidence are seam thickness and its depth beneath the surface. The amount of subsidence can be calculated roughly by using the formula: Interview: Rebels of the Neon God 青少年哪吒 Sintaxis Grafica de la Multimedia (Graphical Syntax of Multimedia) 2.7 A gene ‘for’ obesity? So far we have mostly emphasized the way in which different environmental factors may affect body weight and provide a partial explanation of both individual cases of obesity and the increase in average body weight that has been so clearly documented in both North America and Western Europe during the last two decades. There is also marked individual variability in body weight. For example, any weight between about 58 and 78 kg would be regarded as ‘desirable’ for a person of height 1.77 An Integrated 3D Geodatabase for Palladio's Work Polyrational approaches to obesity Prédiction d’inondation avec Telemac 2D (Vidéo) Cette séquence est consacrée à l’application du modèle Telemac 2D à la prédiction de l’inondation à Hô-Chi-Minh-Ville, cas où il y a une rupture du barrage de Dau Tieng. It is important to be as precise as possible about the skills, knowledge, qualifications and at 6.1 Introduction In recent years different explanations of how labour markets operate have been proposed by a number of economists dissatisfied with neoclassical theory in general and its explanation for labour market disadvantage in particular. Some of these alternatives simply extend neoclassical models to include the effects of various institutional factors. Others, however, have sought to develop a new theoretical approach. All reject a predominantly competitive analysis and emphasise instead the fragment 2.3 Negative feedback and stability If positive feedback results in change, then another mechanism must exist that creates stability. This is negative feedback. What stops water hyacinth from taking over the world? Clearly, it is the lack of tropical freshwater. As the number of water hyacinth reaches the limits of their water body, there is a sudden increase in the death rate as offspring compete for the ever decreasing levels of sunlight. The sudden overcrowding allows the establishment of a negative feed Time lapse of my side yard, Feb. 2nd, 2015 El Uso de Scaners y Ploteadores Tridimensionales en Talleres de Dise?o Iniciales (The Use of Three-d Understanding the Declaration of Independence - 9 Key Concepts French Lesson Week 2 - Leçon 2 [Expressions With Avoir/Être]
Rebels of a Neon God (青少年哪吒) tells the story of Hsiao Kang (played by Li Kangsheng 李康生), a loner who inhabits the gritty streets of early 1990s Taipei. The rebelliousness that permeated Li Kangsheng’s generation in Taiwan is a key theme of the film. Li Kangsheng brings an authenticity to the role, drawing on his own life experience, which in turn helped to inspire the final form of the movie. In this interview, recorded at the Australian Centre on China in the World at the Aust
The multimedia offers an integration that must be made by the subject with the stimuli given, in their majority visual. For that reason it is interesting to know how effective may be the use of images and to propose some basic norms for designing multimedia software based on a graphic syntax

The paper makes reference to the introduction of a new pedagogical strategy in the teaching of fundamental design in early design studios. The authors recognizes a relationship between the creative process and the media that supports the design process, and proposes the use of 3-dimensional scanners and plotters (rapid prototyping) for interfacing between the use of digital and analogue media. The paper suggests that in such learning environment the students will learn to design without the limi
