Conversations in Contemporary Art (CICA) is a visiting artist lecture series presented by the Concordia's MFA in Studio Arts program (Department of Studio Arts). SMU Communications Professor Rita Kirk, director of the Maguire Center for Ethics and Public Responsibility, and Walter Humann, a civic leader and founder of the Dallas Area Rapid Transit system, talk about the "Goals for Dallas," established 50 years ago under the leadership of then-Mayor J. Erik Jonsson.
This course is a survey of developments in Western musical style, 1815-1915. Students will study works by 35 composers, including the romantics: Schubert, Chopin, and Schumann; the post-romantics: Wagner, Verdi, and Brahms; the turn-of-the-centurians: Mahler, Debussy, and Ravel; and the Americans: Gottschalk, Beach, and Joplin. Score-reading ability is beneficial.

In part 2 of this video, the teachers allow the students to discuss on how the teachers gave feedback on the moon journals. The teacher charted what the students noticed on feedback the teachers gave each other. Then the teachers observe a peer feedback session between the students. Using appropriate and respectful vocabulary, two teachers share their own moon journals and give each other feedback.
