GEEMA Taster Day, 31 March 2010
On 31 March 2010 over 400 Year 12 students and their parents attended a taster day for state school students from ethnic minority backgrounds.
The day included a general introduction to the University, subject sessions led by Admissions Tutors (arts/humanities or sciences) and talks on interviews and life at Cambridge.

Professor Elaine Scarry (English, Harvard), 'Beauty and Social Justice'. Professor Scarry was delivering the first of two keynote addresses to the conference 'Pain in Performance and 'Moving Beauty' (21-22 May, 2010). The second keynote (available in the CRASSH collection) was by Professor Helmut Lethen (The IFK, Vienna)

Establishing Rigour in the PhD Process - Adamantios Diamantopoulos
The Academy of Marketing 2010 Conference, entitled Transformational Marketing, took place between the 6th to the 8th July 2010 at Coventry University.
This talk was delivered as part of the Doctoral Colloquium that took place alongside the conference. Professor Adamantios Diamantopoulos discusses establishing rigour in the PhD process.
