Welcome to the School of Biomedical Sciences
The School of Biomedical Sciences encompasses Anatomy, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology and Physiology. This arrangement encourages interdisciplinary research and provides a stimulating environment for postgraduate training.
The School was rated excellent in the latest QAA subject reviews, and delivers Undergraduate programmes in Biochemistry, Biochemistry & Biological Chemistry, Biochemistry & Genetics, Neuroscience, Neuroscience & Biochemistry, and Neuroscience & Pharmacology.
Staff in the School also teach a large proportion of the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Medical courses, and make a substantial contribution to the MPharm course.
