Update on GRACE

The University of Nottingham has joined forces with the east midlands development agency (emda) to create a new world-class centre of excellence in Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) with a total investment of £9.2m. The Nottingham Geospatial Building (NGB), the home of GRACE officially opened its doors on the 21st of October 2009.

The NGB offer includes: "virtual" mailing addresses, dedicated desk-space as well as dedicated office space and all the benefits you would expect from being part of a technology focused business incubation centre (GRACE is a recognised member of the European Business Incubation Network [EBN] and ESINET [European Space Incubation Network]). To give you a first-hand chance to take a look at what NGB has to offer you are invited to attend an NGB tour and open day. The open days are currently planned for Friday November 27th and Friday December 4th 2009 with tours commencing at 10am and 2pm on each of those days. Refreshments will be provided. Space at NGB is limited, so for more information or to book space on your preferred open day, please contact a member of the GRACE team on info@grace.ac.uk or on 0115 823 2333 ASAP.

GRACE provides regional, national and international business with access to world-leading facilities that will include customised incubation units, touch-down space, project offices, state of the art testing equipment, secure research & development laboratories and dedicated training suites.

GRACE capitalises on the existing capabilities of the University of Nottingham in Research and Training and combine for the first time in one new location, the world renowned IESSG (Institute of Engineering Surveying and Space Geodesy) and the CGS (Centre for Geospatial Science) together with newly formed GRACE team.
