Biography

Helen is Professor of Neonatal Medicine at the University and Honorary Consultant Neonatologist for Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

She graduated in Physiological Sciences and in Medicine from the University of Oxford Medical School and trained in Paediatrics & Neonatology in Oxford and Nottingham. She was awarded her PhD from the University of Nottingham in 2003.

She is Deputy Head of the School of Medicine and Director of Nottingham's Clinical Academic Training Programme. She has previously served as the School's Director of Infrastructure & Personnel, Inaugural Director of the Academic Unit of Lifespan & Population Health and Head of the former Division of Child Health, Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
