Biography
I'm a Learning Technologist in the School, charged with working with teaching staff to develop and use e-learning resources Previously I worked at the University of Hull Language Institute for ten years, in Computer-Aided Language Learning (CALL), and retain a strong interest in languages from that period.
I'll be leaving the university at the end of July under the early severance scheme, and will be actively searching for work in e-learning and web development in the Higher Education sector.

I started with the School of Nursing (as was) in September 2003, taking up the newly-created post of Learning Technologist/Media Developer.
I'm responsible for advising and supporting School staff on e-learning matters, with particular reference to the development and use of Reusable Learning Objects (RLOs).
