Academic qualifications: Doctor of Health Science (DHSci Nottingham), MMedSci (Nottingham), PGDiploma (Medical Ethics), BA (Hon) (Law & Psychology), PGCHE.

Professional qualifications: Registered nurse (RN) in adult and mental health fields of practice. NMC registered nurse teacher.

Practice, research and teaching/learning interests in safeguarding and domestic abuse, dignity in care encounters, nurse-patient relationships, boundaries of care and arts and health.

Research background and expertise in qualitative methods.

Current role: Associate Professor and Lead for Safeguarding within the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Physiotherapy.
