Current Research

The title of my study is "Facing Death and Rediscovering Spirituality: An Exploratory Study towards a Relevant Model of Spiritual Care in Palliative Care in India". Considering the rich and diverse spiritual and cultural traditions in the country, the study aims at identifying key features of spiritual care from historical traditions of caring for the dying and analyzing their relevance for the present context. My research interest in the subject stems from several years of working as a chaplain and spiritual care educator for a palliative care programme in India.
