Biography

I currently work as a senior statistician splitting my time between working on the NEON trial in the Mental Health Institute and working for the Research Design Service (RDS). Before this I worked for 4 years as a lecturer in medical statistics and senior statistician for Queen Mary, University of London, splitting my time between working for the Pragmatic Clinical Trial Unit (PCTU), the Asthma UK Centre for Applied Research, AUK CAR and teaching epidemiology and statistics on their Global Health MSc. Before this I worked for 5 years at the Respiratory Biomedical Research Centre at University of Leicester as a statistician.

Current Research

I currently split my work 50% as the trial statistician on the NEON mental health trial, NIHR project Grant. The intervention is testing the effect of narratives of mental health recovery in the recovery of others adn 50% as an RDS advisor.

I also work on on the NIHR project grant IMP2ART, which is an implementation trial around promoting self management of asthma and the NIHR public health grant CHILL, Children's lung Health in London and Luton.
