Biography

Leah Goulding graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Genetics (2014) and went on to obtain a PhD in Veterinary Medicine and Science (2018) from the University of Nottingham. She completed a post-doctoral position developing antivirals against African swine fever virus (ASFV) at the Pirbright Institute. She is currently assistant professor in virology at the University of Nottingham where she continues to build on her discovery of a new class of broad-spectrum antivirals against respiratory RNA viruses and examining the role of endoplasmic reticulum stress in host immunity.
