LARTE

LARTE (Live Augmented Reality Training Experience project number: 101509) is a one year project funded by the Technology Strategy Board. It aims to explore different methods of knowledge transfer by comparing training processes with and without virtual and augmented reality systems, in order to:

  • Identify the effectiveness, advantages and limits of virtual solutions to train automotive service operators;
  • Develop a concept of a new software to support and increase the trainees’ experiences in immersive environments;

The team of LARTE is composed by two industrial partners, Jaguar Land Rover Limited and HoloVis International, and by the IT and UX specialists of the Human Factors Research Group of The University of Nottingham.
