The School of Medicine is delighted to announce that following a very successful viva Richard Smedley (a part-time PhD student) has been awarded his PhD subject to very very minor corrections.
Richard has been doing his PhD remotely, which he self-funded his PhD entitled "Online social support for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome". He has worked incredibly hard and has several publications already from his thesis with more to come, said his supervisor, Dr Neil Coulson from the Division of Rehabilitation and Ageing.
