RRID study results are fed back to participants and their families

Following completion of the year-5 follow-up visits, the RRID study team has recently hosted two very successful patient feedback meetings. Both sessions were well attended and generated lively discussion. Participants heard about the scale of the study and some of the important findings that their dedication and participation over the course of the project have helped to produce. Feedback on the events, and the study itself were overwhelmingly positive. Topics presented included long term outcome data for people with CKD stage 3 and the role of skin autofluorescence in CKD risk prediction. These data were also presented at the American Society of Nephrology Kidney Week (San Diego, November 2015).
