Description

The Institute for Science and Society, with support from the STS Priority Group, organise an exciting weekly seminar programme.

The events host a stimulating mix of external and internal speakers who are renowned experts in their field. The seminars cover a wide range of topics, such as past presentations on 'How climate change will affect global food security', 'Public perceptions of regenerative medicine' and 'The ethics of using animals in biomedical research'.

The sessions are followed by refreshments, opportunities to meet the speaker and continued discussion in an informal setting.

Seminars are normally held Thursdays, between 1.00-2.00 p.m. in Room A100, West Wing - Law and Social Sciences Building, University Park. All are welcome.
