Expertise Summary

Dr. Novita has her core research competencies in eco-design, sustainable manufacturing, material selection, recycling oriented design, design and development of environmental impact assessment tool in product design, and development of expert systems for green design. She established many research collaboration and university linkage in the area of manufacturing and sustainable design, specifically Asia-Pacific universities. She published research articles in many high impact referred journals, proceeding of international conference and serves as an active invited reviewer of several international journals. She is a Member of the Institution Engineering Designers (IED) UK and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy UK. Apart of her teaching and research activities, she currently serves as Mechatronic Liason Officer at M3 Department, UNM.
