Biography

Dr Hannah Elwick is a postdoctoral Research Fellow based at MindTech, a research centre funded by the NIHR and located within the Institute of Mental Health, and is currently funded by the NIHR Mental Health Translational Research Collaboration (MH-TRC) Mission. Her current work focuses on developing remote, digital assessments for children, young people, and adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Hannah's PhD was in neuropsychology and focused on the development of remote, digital neuropsychological assessments for use in clinical care for people with Multiple Sclerosis.

Hannah is interested in the development, validation, and implementation of clinical outcome asssessments, and has experience across diverse populations and health conditions in both academic and industry settings using qualitative and quantitative methodologies.

As a Research Associate at the University of Nottingham, Hannah developed and validated a quality of life measure for adult carers. She also has experience as a Research Manager within clinical research organisations, leading studies to explore the measurement of health related quality of life, including the development and validation of outcome measures. She also has experience in conducting systematic and scoping reviews, embedded in-trial and end-of-trial studies, and has been involved in a range of regulatory activities with the FDA and EMA. At the University of Oxford, Hannah was involved in the licensing and management of outcome measures, which included developing best practices for digital implementation within the NHS.

Hannah's experience spans neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric disorders, as well as neurology, urology, hepatology, sleep medicine, dermatology, and respiratory care.
