The Education Centre at the Royal Derby Hospital is based in one of the biggest hospitals in the East Midlands. It provides state-of-the-art teaching and learning facilities for students and is fully equipped with social and administrative facilities.

Approximately four miles north east of University Park Campus, Nottingham City Hospital is accessed by a regular bus service from the Queen’s Medical Centre (adjacent to University Park).
Purpose-built University facilities have been developed at Nottingham City Hospital, which is the base for education for physiotherapy and sport rehabilitation students.

These are stocked with all the equipment necessary for practical skills teaching. The brand new Clinical Skills Suite at the Medical School is used for some interprofessional and skills teaching.
Full library services are available on site. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the building and a fully equipped computer suite, available for use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A new common room with kitchen and laptop points gives students a base on days when teaching is timetabled most or all of the day.
