nubiz Bulletin

Sep/Oct 2014

Welcome to the latest nubiz e-bulletin with all the latest news, developments and events from the Nottingham University Business School alumni community.

It has been an exceptionally busy time over the summer which is why this is such a packed issue. Firstly a big congratulations to all Business School students who graduated in the summer across all three of our campuses in China, Malaysia and the UK. We know how much hard work you put in and would like to wish you every success in your future career and officially welcome you to our global alumni network. We also welcomed Lindsay Dexter (Alumni and Communications Apprentice) to the Alumni Team. Lindsay will be with us for the next 12 months.

On August 15,
The University of Nottingham's Vice-Chancellor Professor Sir David Greenaway and his team set out on this year's Life Cycle, a gruelling 1,400+ mile charity bike ride taking in all four corners of Great Britain to raise money for Children's Brain Tumour Research. This is the fourth Life Cycle with the previous three raising a staggering £760,000 for research into palliative and end of life care, increasing opportunities for students irrespective of financial means, and stroke rehabilitation research. You can read about their epic journey on the Life Cycle blog or make a donation at the Life Cycle website
