A graduating International Business Economics student from Nottingham University Business School China (NUBS China) has been recognised for gaining the highest average mark of any student across the three Nottingham University business schools.

The Nottingham University Business School Tri-campus Academic Excellence Award, launched this year, recognises the top academic performance among business school students.
Tian, who joined the undergraduate programme at NUBS China in 2009, was presented the award by Professor Nick Miles, Provost and Pro -Vice-Chancellor of UNNC (University of Nottingham Ningbo China), and Dr Peter Hofman, NUBS China Undergraduate Programme Director, at his graduation ceremony.
Tian, who is now going on to Imperial College London to study for a master’s degree in finance, said: “I am so excited to receive this award. I would like express my sincere thanks to my parents, university, tutors and friends. I enjoyed four years studying here, a marvellous experience!”
Professor Miles said: “I am delighted Tian Siyang has been awarded the business school’s Tri-Campus Academic Excellence Award which recognises outstanding academic performance across our three campuses.
“As a young university we have come long way in the last decade and I’m proud of the excellent quality of our students who compare with the best in world. Tian’s achievement reinforces this and we celebrate his accomplishment. Well done.”
