The purpose of the Companion Service (Digital) Volunteer role is to provide personalised digital/IT support to older people to help them gain or improve technical skills and to become digitally included.

You will promote the recovery of young people and vulnerable adults following a disclosure of child sexual abuse and/or domestic abuse through the provision of early intervention therapeutic assessment, psycho-education, strategies for acute stress symptoms.

The role is based around a series of projects targeted at developing a great foundational knowledge of an engineering business as well as developing your communication, project planning and problem-solving skills. You will get the opportunity to spend time with and learn about the different business functions as well as spending time working in the engineering disciplines (R&D, Electronics, Mechanics, Firmware, Reliability, Manufacturing) relevant to your experience.
