Egon Zakrajšek is a Deputy Associate Director—a senior officer position—in the Division of Monetary Affairs, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in Washington, DC.
His research focuses on the predictive content of asset prices for economic outcomes; the influence of financial factors on macroeconomic dynamics; pricing behaviour in bank-intermediated credit markets; and the implications of financial market frictions for firms’ investment and financing decisions.
