12:20-12:45

Creative workshop

Imagine if the University had a permanent presence in the city, dedicated to engaging with the public. What would we use this space for? How would we programme it? What audiences would it be suitable for? How would we fund it? What criteria would we use to assess success? This workshop session is intended to get participants thinking creatively about the variety of public engagement activity undertaken across the University of Nottingham and to critically assess current and potential ideas.

2.        Strategy Development Session

Cutting the Public Engagement Cake (12:45-14:00)

Dr Steve Cross and Alex Miles will facilitate this session, taking your knowledge of what we currently do and using it to brainstorm how we can work towards a more collaborative and effective approach.

3.         Tea/Coffee and Networking (14:00-14:30)

A chance for you to connect and spark up new Public Engagement ideas, projects and collaborations.

If you would like any specific issues to be discussed and explored, please send details to matthew.young@nottingham.ac.uk no later than Wednesday 6th December.
