The School of Cultures, Languages and Area Studies is a leading centre for the study of culture, film and media, modern languages and American and Canadian studies.
As part of our Outreach programme, we host regular Taster Days for year 12 students in the local area. The aim of these taster days is to provide school pupils with an insight into studying a particular subject at university and to experience being a student for a day.
Our event comprises film workshops, a cultural seminar, a Language taster and mini campus tour.
