Researcher awarded prestigious grant

Dr Bindi Brook, a researcher in the Centre for Mathematical Medicine and Biology and the School of Mathematical Sciences, has been awarded a 5 year grant by the Medical Research Council (MRC) to study "A multi-scale modelling framework for airway hyper-responsiveness and remodelling in asthma." The award follows a successful 2 year fellowship for Dr Brook sponsored by the Daphne Jackson Trust.
