Research Fellow wins early career prize

Dr Leah Band, a Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellow working between the School of Mathematical Sciences and the Centre for Plant Integrative Biology (CPIB), has been awarded a President's Medal by the Society for Experimental Biology. These prizes are awarded annually to young scientists of outstanding merit, with one prize awarded in each of four categories. Leah won the Cell category, in recognition of her work on modelling plant growth and development.
