Call for Participation

We wish to invite you to the next University of Nottingham HPC conference which is relevant to users (and future users) of HPC facilities for their work/research, as well as topics covering GPGPU, Distributed & Grid Computing. We aim to feature talks with tutorial value, and plan to hold hands-on sessions with University of Nottingham HPC and GPGPU facilities for new users.There will also be talks led by the University of Nottingham HPC services team to discuss recent developments and to engage with the user base focusing on issues such a future procurement and usability.We seek University of Nottingham members (staff, postdocs) of HPC/GPGPU/Distributed Computing/GRID computing to give a 30 minute case study talk about the use of such facilities in relation to their research. Abstracts will be selected for relevance, suitability and complementarity to other talks. Also, a poster session (with poster prize) shall be held, which will be of value to PhD students, who wish to create contacts with others who share the facilities, and may have overlapping disciplines and research interests.

Abstract submission deadline : 10th June 2011
Registration deadline : 15th June 2011
Posters submission deadline : 20th June2011
Conference : 5th & 6th July 2011
