The Bereavement Journey course will guide you through the most common aspects of grief and bereavement, and help you to discern the next steps.
Loss needs to be processed for our physical and mental wellbeing. Left unresolved, grief can affect our attitudes, relationships and attainment. This course is suitable for anyone who is experiencing grief now or has a previous bereavement that may be unresolved. It will cover topics such as:
- Attachment, separation and loss
- The pain and responses of grief
- Anger and guilt
- Coping with others’ reactions
- Delayed and suppressed grief
- Adjusting to change
- Moving forward healthily
Each session will take place online on the following days:
- Thursday 12 February, 2pm - 3.30pm
- Thursday 19 February, 2pm - 3.30pm
- Thursday 26 February, 2pm - 3.30pm
- Thursday 5 March, 2pm - 3.30pm
- Thursday 12 March, 2pm - 3.30pm
- Thursday 19 March, 2pm - 3.30pm
- Thursday 26 March, 2pm - 3.30pm (optional)
It’s recommended that you attend all dates. However, the final session will be optional and focuses on questions around faith during bereavement.
