This is your opportunity to help shape our approach to the climate crisis and make local changes that have a global impact.
We know that climate change and sustainability is a concern to many of our students and that it’s important to you that you’re engaged in what the university is doing to help combat the environmental crisis we’re facing.
Over the past 12 months our Sustainability Team has been engaging with stakeholders across the university to define our Climate Change and Sustainability Plan for the next decade.
The plan sets out how we can transition to a net zero, climate-resilient and nature-positive university; how we can embed sustainability across teaching, learning and research; and how we can strengthen our university-wide culture of sustainability.
It aligns our environmental ambitions with the university’s broader vision, strategy, and goals, ensuring that sustainability remains at the heart of everything we do.
We would now like to invite you to review our plan and provide your feedback.
The Sustainability Team will be hosting a drop-in session from 10am - 2pm on Monday 3 March in Monica Partridge Building on University Park if you would like to learn more about the plan and speak to us directly.
