Help save 120,000 of CO2 and get rewarded this march

Wednesday, 16 March 2022
UoN, Nottingham Trent University, and residents across Nottinghamshire, are being encouraged to join together and help save 120,000kg of CO2 this March.

Reducing the amount of carbon emissions is vital to mitigate the effects of climate change, prevent health issues caused by factors such as air pollution, and maintain a diverse natural environment. We can all make a difference, with small everyday changes, that add up to a big impact.

Green Rewards is a free scheme that rewards members with vouchers for taking actions to help reduce carbon emissions. The actions include travelling sustainably, reducing waste or energy use, and reducing meat consumption.

Green rewards is open to all members of our university community for free and is available online and via app. Those already signed up can refer colleagues and friends for bonuses to help us reach the goal even faster.

To get involved visit the Green Rewards site or search ‘UoN Green Rewards’ for the Android and IOS app.
