The university has made a new commitment following work with a focus group of current estranged students.
The University of Nottingham has signed the Stand Alone Pledge in commitment to us reviewing and improving our support for estranged students – students who study without the support and approval of a family network. In addition to this, we have worked with the Accommodation team, Funding and Finance, Support and Wellbeing and the SU to ensure a wide and appropriate support package is on offer.

Our dedicated team of Wellbeing Officers for estranged students will be available in the Portland Building between 11-2pm on Tuesday 22 November and are happy to help with any issues affecting your wellbeing. You can arrange an appointment with our services in Queen’s medical centre, University Park or Jubilee Campus
