We’re approaching the official final few months of the Wilding Campuses partnership project, but there are still plenty of ways to get involved!
Nature is under threat, not least in the UK, but together we can rewild our spaces and help protect local wildlife. All whilst improving our wellbeing, learning new skills and meeting likeminded people.
Get involved in our free, nature-based activities right on campus:
Wildlife webinars
A series of online sessions, delivered with SOS-UK will provide an opportunity to engage with critical issues around nature loss, bird monitoring, and wilding at both national and campus scales.
- Tackling the biodiversity crisis
Thursday 15 January, 11.45am - 12.45pm

Tree and hedge planting
With funding from the Tree Council and Network Rail’s Community Tree Planting Fund, we are planting native trees and hedgerows across our UK campuses in 2026. This includes an orchard on Jubilee campus, enabling more foraging opportunities for people and nature.
Come and lend a hand on Wednesday afternoons. Every volunteer will get a free hot drink from Portland Coffee and team or course-based sessions can also be arranged.
