Parking charges suspended until September

Monday, 24 May 2021
Parking charges will be suspended until Tuesday 31 August and reintroduced on Wednesday 1 September when the new permit year begins.

Charges have been suspended since Thursday 5 November when Nottinghamshire went into lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Currently, students who have a valid permit will be able to continue parking on campus and can apply for a refund following the below instructions.

If you are eligible for a parking permit for the 2021/22 academic year, you should only apply once you have a current term address registered in Campus Solutions in early September. Please do not apply before this time as the team will be unable to process your application.

Please direct any queries to parking@nottingham.ac.uk.

Refunds - action required

Refunds are now available for those who paid for their 2020/21 permits in full. There is also the option to take forward the refund towards the cost of a new permit.

To request a refund, please e-mail parking@nottingham.ac.uk with your vehicle registration number and a contact telephone number by Wednesday 30 June.

Please note, if you pay for your permit by monthly instalments these will have ceased when parking charges were suspended and no further action is required. Unused voucher permits that have passed their expiry date can be exchanged for a new book (minus vouchers already used) for use in the next permit year.

Information on permit options can be found on the parking website. Please send any queries regarding your options to parking@nottingham.ac.uk.
