The Information Services team has been made aware of a harmful email that has been sent to staff and students.

The email:

• appears to have come from helpdesk@exmail.nottingham.ac.uk
• features the subject line ‘New Restriction <username>@exmail.nottingham.ac.uk Quota Update!!’
• invites recipients to follow a link to validate their account

This is not a legitimate message. Please do not click any links and make sure you delete the email. If you have clicked the link in the email, please resent your password immediately via IT Accounts and contact the IT Service Desk.
