Following constructive and positive discussions with the University and College Union (UCU), we have reached an agreement that will suspend the planned strike action from this week (effective from Monday 17 November).
As part of this agreement, the university has committed to no compulsory redundancies before 31 October 2026. We hope this provides increased reassurance during what we recognise has been a period of uncertainty.
Please note that Action Short of Strike will continue at this time.
