While the work takes place, the A52 will return to a one-way system for eastbound traffic between Priory and QMC roundabouts from 6am on Tuesday 20 January 2026.

During this time, all westbound bus stops along the A52 will be suspended and buses will therefore be rerouted. For eastbound buses, temporary bus stops will be placed at the Priory roundabout and also near the QMC roundabout.

From Monday 19 January to Friday 23 January 2026 the A52 will be closed overnight (8pm to 6am) in both directions between Priory and QMC roundabouts for safety fence installation.
