The UoN Student and Staff Excellence Awards recognise the efforts and achievements of members of our community who have demonstrated outstanding performance or gone out of their way to make contributions to life at the University of Nottingham and in the surrounding community.

Winners will receive an award at our ceremonies in June and October, but we need you to tell us who you think is deserving of an award.

There are multiple categories, and you can nominate individuals or groups; staff or students.

The categories cover all aspects of university life, so you could nominate a student who has been an inspiring leader for your sport club, society, or study project; or a group of students who have made a positive contribution to society – perhaps by volunteering in the local community or making our campuses nicer places to spend time.

Alternatively, you might want to nominate a member of staff who has inspired you with a passion for their subject, or someone who has supported you through a challenging time.
