Happy New Year to everyone celebrating the beginning of the Year of the Snake.
The snake is the sixth animal in the lunar zodiac and considered the most mysterious of the twelve animals. People born in the year of the snake are known for their intelligence, elegance and creativity.

Celebrate the Year of the Snake
Join the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Engineering on Wednesday 5 February, 12.30-2pm in the Engineering and Science Learning Centre Atrium on University Park Campus.
The Confucius Institute are hosting craft activities including paper cutting, knot tying, calligraphy and brush painting. There will also be Chinese tea and snack tasting in addition to performances on traditional Chinese instruments at 1pm.
