International Doctoral Innovation Centre (IDIC)
The University of Nottingham and its pioneering Campus in Ningbo China, have opened an International Doctoral Innovation Centre spanning both countries, in order to train 100 of the brightest young PhD researchers over the next six years.
They will become future leaders in the fields of energy and digital technologies, helping to develop innovative solutions to address major global challenges.
IDIC students
The IDIC had it's first cohort of students in 2012 and the programme has continued to grow year on year. Students come from a variety of backgrounds including:

- Civil Engineering
- Maths
- Languages
- Business

The unique model integrates a number of co-dependent strands to achieve an exciting new environment for world-leading research.
