Applications are invited for the post of Associate Professor in the School of Geography.
We are seeking to appoint an academic to make a significant leadership impact within the research and teaching area of Cultural and Historical Geography.
The successful candidate will be expected to engage in research at an international level and to apply for external funding to enable development of new and independent research. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to teaching at all levels within the school, including lectures, tutorials and the supervision of dissertations and project work. A range of administrative duties to support the operation of the school will also be undertaken.
Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent in a relevant subject area or equivalent extensive professional/research experience. Applicants should have extensive research and teaching experience with an established national and growing international reputation in the field of Cultural and Historical Geography. It is essential that applicants have demonstrated success in obtaining funding and have an extensive track record of published research.
