Nottingham researchers to tackle global challenges with new 'Living Deltas' hub

Suzanne McGowan and Virginia Panizzo were part of a successful GCRF Hub bid entitled Living Deltas and led by Newcastle University.

The Hub includes 50 international researchers and will focus on the Mekong, Red River and Ganges-Brahamputra Deltas in Asia, working in partnership with delta-dwellers to develop new knowledge and policies. The Hub brings £1.2 million of funding to Nottingham to support two postdoctoral researchers and one technician in the School of Geography over the next three years.
