Alexandra Zieritz and her team’s research into freshwater mussels in Borneo has received
significant media attention
following their discovery of a new species and genus of freshwater mussel. They have appeared in Malaysia’s most circulated newspaper, the British newspaper, The Sun and Alexandra’s Malaysian collaborator, Dr Khairul Adha A. Rahim, has also appeared in a TV interview on Sejahtera Asia di TVS.
