School of Geography meets with Mexican Ambassador and Embassy

The Mexican Ambassador, Josefa Gonzalez Blanco and the Head of Cooperation and Educational Fairs from the Embassy (Monica Sigg Pallares) visited the university at the instigation of the University of Nottingham Mexican Society on Saturday 27 November. 

One of our PhD students, Luisa  Aldrete Flores Daran, is the Vice President of the Mexican Society and met with the Ambassador.  Professor Giles Foody and Professor Sarah Metcalfe were also invited along as members of staff with active links to Mexico.
