Our Vision

The Nottingham Centre of Gravity showcases Nottingham’s internationally leading expertise in gravitational physics and aims to expand it into new areas. It is founded upon six overlapping pillars of gravitational research:

  • fundamental physics
  • mathematics
  • cosmology
  • relativistic astrophysics
  • experiment
  • data & modelling.

The Centre brings together expertise from the School of Mathematical Sciences and the School of Physics and Astronomy.
