Things I don't like

There are some things that Steve doesn’t like or that scare him. He’s put some pictures on his board. See if you can guess which ones he likes and which ones he doesn’t.

The worst thing to give Steve is something very cold to drink. He will drink water, but only if it’s warm.

Steve loves coffee. It has to be white with no sugar. At home he has his own Harry Potter mug.

He doesn’t like salad, but loves vegetables.

He doesn’t like the dark and always sleeps with a small nightlight on.

Steve is not keen on crowds, and often gets agitated if there are lots of people around. That’s why he only goes into town at the beginning of the week. If he begins to get anxious he often bites his hand. Please take him somewhere where there are less people – he calms down very quickly.

At home, when there are more than 2 staff around it’s a good idea to take him into the conservatory with you, or in his own room with his talking book.
