What you need to know about my health

Because Steve breathes through his mouth all the time he gets lots of sore throats and ear aches. He hasn’t got words or signs to tell you when his ear hurt always, but he does pull on his left ear when it is beginning to get sore. Please don’t wait – take him to see the GP.

Steve eats a healthy diet and likes to attend the well man’s clinic at the health centre.

Mandy, the practice nurse, helped him fill in his Health Passport. Please keep it updated.

Steve has never stayed in hospital. He sees the chiropodist once every six months.

His auntie who is a beautician always gives him a manicure when she visits each month.

Steve takes himself to the toilet and keeps himself clean. He doesn’t take any medication, but his GP has written that he can have paracetamol for his ear ache if needed. Please give him the tablets whole with a cup of tea.
