HR Director's Office
The Department is led by Jaspal Kaur, Director of Human Resources.
Administrative support to the HR Director's office (and wider HR function) is provided by the HR Central Support Services Team co-ordinated by Tanya Robinson (PA to the Director of Human Resources).
MyView is a web-based system which gives employees direct access to view and update some of the data that the University holds about them (ie their home address and personal details like their date of birth. Employees can also use the system to access their payslips and P60s.

The Employment Relations Team provide support related to situations involving: frequent or long-term sickness absence; disciplinary, grievance or dignity procedures.
Recruitment Services Team
The Recruitment Services Team provide information, advice and guidance relating to attraction and selection of talent for the University, across all job families and levels.
International Employment Services Team
The International Employment Services Team provide specialist global mobility advice and support, including a comprehensive UK staff immigration service to new and current staff at the University’s campuses in the UK, China and Malaysia and in support of those working for the University worldwide.
Employment Support Services Team
The Employment Support Services Team provide support to the on-boarding process, pre-employment checks and changes to employment contracts, leavers and casual workers, confirmation of employment letters, plus central short courses and longer-term programmes, and re-grading.
Central Support Services Team
The Central Support Services Team provide administrative support to the HR Director's Office (and wider HR function) ensuring a range of services and events (such as the Long Service Awards event) are delivered for our customers, plus departmental procurement/finance.
HR Specialist Services Team
The HR Specialist Services Team is responsible for the delivery of strategic HR projects/specialist services and support to the University.
Professional Development Team
The Professional Development Team is responsible for the delivery of professional development/training services and support to the University
The Safety Office is responsible for the provision of professional advice and support on managing health and safety risks to the University
Payroll Services Team
Part of Financial Operations, Payroll Services has overall responsibility for the payroll functions at the University of Nottingham. Their aim is to ensure that all employees are paid in a timely and accurate manner.
Pension and Benefits Services
Part of Financial Control, Pension & Benefits Services has overall responsibility of all pension schemes and employee benefits that the University has to offer to its employees.
